If there is going to see a movie these days of ethnic clashes is "Gran Torino." According to my brother, the film can be summed up thus: "Finally a bit raw and still is the Alfa Romeo GT beautiful ".
In fact, this film directed by and starring Clint Eastwood is something more. Do not change your life, but certainly makes you think on certain aspects of our society. The story is set in Detroit, the historic seat of the car Ford, in the suburbs made up of small houses inhabited by the working class. The role of the factory has been declining, older workers, "U.S." moved from the neighborhood that is repopulated by new communities of foreigners. If you want to think about the similarities that we live in turin in our day: the "factory" that loses its importance in the imaginary city and the old and weak Italian working class that clashes and competes with the new working class formata da immigrati.
In attesa di vedere il nuovo film di Eastwood "Invictus" , è un buon way to begin to appreciate the qualities of the great actor of the film director spaghetti westerns, who despite being a Republican hard and pure, and probably the character played in the movie is not exactly "democratic", but that reveals the ability to reflect on some issues that affect us all.
